About SAQR
Society for Aerospace Quality and Reliability (SAQR)
The Society for Aerospace Quality and Reliability (SAQR) is a registered professional society formed in the year 2002 to share and propagate the best quality and reliability practices among Indian aerospace entities. It has fifteen corporate members and more than six hundred individual members. It has individual and corporate members from ISRO, DRDO, HAL, NAL, ADA, BDL, ECIL, academic institutions and private industries.

Objectives of the Society

To advance the study of Quality and Reliability Engineering and promote their application particularly relevant to the needs of the aerospace field.

To dissimilate knowledge pertaining to theory and Application of Quality and Reliability Engineering through QUEST conferences to be held at appropriate intervals.

To encourage meritorious work in the area of quality and reliability engineering by according suitable recognition to individuals and teams.

To publish journal / newsletter reporting results of researches, experiences to be shared, major events, views and observations by eminent personalities and policy makers.

To seek suitable interactions with other societies and associations in the field of quality and reliability engineering.

To provide scholarship /fellowship in reputed educational institutions for the pursuit of graduate / postgraduate studies in the quality and reliability engineering relevant to aerospace field.

To promote Q&R principles and encourage the personnel involved by carrying out the activities 1 to 6.

All income and other resources of the society shall be utilized for the promotion of objective of the society.
