SAQR Ahmedabad Chapter

The Society for Aerospace Quality and Reliability (SAQR) is actively contributing towards
creating awareness and sensitizing the stake holders towards Quality aspects to build the Reliable
systems.
A step forward for imbibing this Quality culture and giving further impetus to the activities of SAQR, National Executive Committee approved Ahmedabad Local Chapter, having 68 life members including 7 office bearers. SAQR Ahmedabad Chapter was inaugurated on 30th September 2026, by Shri A. Rajarajan, President, National Chapter, SAQR and Dr. S. C. Bera, Associate Director, SAC on behalf of Dr. Ch. V N Rao, Director SAC. Director SAC, conveyed his best wishes to the society. Members of SAQR executive committee and life members participated online conveying their best wishes for the local chapter.
As part of inauguration programme, two technical talks by eminent speakers on
(1) Configuration Control Mechanism for Space-craft systems and (2) Human Space flight
programme were arranged. SRSA team of SAC had conducted “Talk to QA”, a unique programme, for technicians at SAC in which experiences and feedback were received. The team presented summary and takeaway of this program, which will be converted into measures improving quality and reliability system in realising Space payload hardware.
The Programme concluded with Vote of Thanks followed by National Song & National Anthem.
